Spiritual life in Alba

Today Transylvania’s biggest (Hungarian) Roman - catholic institution, the thousand-year-old Roman Catholic Archdiocese (1009-2012) can be found in the fortress of Alba Iulia. About its history you can read here.
The center of the catholic education is Alba Iulia. Among its institutions there is the Gróf Majláth Gusztáv Károly Seminar, which offers education to children from kindergarten to gymnasium, and it is also one of the most important institutions of the diaspora in the south of Transylvania.
